Hassan Hassan discovered Education Pioneers while serving as a senior associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Working with clients on asset management, compliance, and performance, Hassan was on the career path he’d envisioned. But he wanted something more: to use his skills and expertise to create a greater social impact.

As a Fellow, Hassan served as manager for data and accountability at Septima Clark Public Charter School in Washington, DC. As the first all-boys public charter school in Washington, DC, Septima Clark is dedicated to eliminating the achievement gap for African American boys in southeast DC, starting in preschool through 8th grade.
Using his management consulting experience, Hassan partnered with the school’s leadership to define a sustainable strategy that leveraged effective analytics and reporting to facilitate a strong, data-driven culture. He also drove higher returns on investment in new and existing technology platforms by ensuring alignment with performance, compliance, and growth objectives.
Hassan joined 4.0 Schools in New Orleans as their Portfolio Manager in 2014 and now serves as the organization's CEO. He is building the capacity of 4.0's entrepreneurial community to design the future of school.
