What could a social impact fellowship do for your career?

Whether you’re exploring a career move or already know the social impact sector is the place for you, fellowships offer you an opportunity to:

  1. Stretch your skills into a new sector and gain meaningful leadership experience through high-impact, mission-driven work

  2. Grow your knowledge of the sector and yourself. Explore leadership competencies and  identity frameworks that are relevant regardless of sector through cohort-based professional development.

  3. Build important connections among your cohort of peers and sector experts that you’ll meet via programming. This network will be instrumental to your future career journey

Fellows hail from diverse personal, educational, and professional backgrounds — including graduate school, consulting, and startups. The common thread among them is the chance to build upon existing skills and make an immediate difference while exploring what a social impact career could look like.

The EP Summer Fellowship is built around the three benefits of a social impact fellowship. It’s a 10-week summer experience at a school district, charter school, education nonprofit, or other education support organization that previews the impact you can make in the education sector and lays the foundation you need to become a lifelong leader. You can read more about the experiences of EP Fellows from this past summer here.
