Education Pioneers Joins Activate ED, New Campaign To Transform Education

Today we are pleased to share some exciting news: Education Pioneers has joined a new collaboration to help accelerate our mission to transform education into the best led and managed sector in the U.S.!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we have partnered with The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems and the Strategic Data Project, part of Harvard’s Center for Education Policy Research, to form Activate ED (www.activate-ed.org).

Our new partners in Activate ED have parallel missions: to place top leadership, management and analytic talent in education systems nationwide. Together our Residents and Fellows help raise student achievement, support teachers’ success and push innovation in school organizations. The Activate ED partners’ recruitment efforts are now joined with the goal of creating a pipeline of more than 1,500 top leaders to the education sector by 2014 through our Fellowship and Residency opportunities.

Activate ED provides a resource for potential Residents and Fellows, our network of alumni and the broader education community to learn about our mission, keep up-to-date about education news, find career resources and discover new data tools.
