With a mission to identify, train, connect, and inspire a new generation of leaders dedicated to transforming our educational system so that all students receive a quality education, Education Pioneers has been building a nationwide network of education change agents outside the classroom since 2003.

Our pioneers have the courage and optimism to confront our nation's education crisis, and they are committed to collaboration as a way to solve problems. Our pioneers believe that transformational change is possible, and they have the will to take action.

Education Pioneers is a groundbreaking national nonprofit organization that accelerates excellence in education by attracting and developing top leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs to ensure a thriving public education system. Public education needs great people at all levels - from the classroom to the district office to state and federal government - and by creating a broad, deep bench of top talent outside the classroom to help transform the system, Education Pioneers ensures high student achievement and success.
Through our Fellowship programs, Education Pioneers identifies the best and brightest graduate students and early career professionals, and invests them with the most impactful organizations and promising initiatives throughout the education sector: in school districts, charter organizations, and nonprofits; as executive directors, policy-makers, business managers, and entrepreneurs.
Education Pioneers also prepares and supports these high-potential professionals to establish and maintain successful careers in education leadership permanently. During the Fellowships' professional development sessions, Education Pioneers' Fellows expand their skills, broaden their perspectives on what works in education and what does not, and deepen their impact where it matters most: in the lives of students.
