Blake Noel joined Education Pioneers to implement reform strategies in service of the teaching and learning taking place in America's schools. Blake recently completed a Master's degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is beginning a doctoral program at the University of Michigan. His work in education began in after-school teaching, which motivated him to complete a residency with the Academy for Urban School Leadership and become a Master Teacher in Chicago Public Schools. During his six years teaching in Chicago, Blake garnered excellent ratings from principals and acknowledgement from students, parents and community groups. He has developed curriculum for schools, and for the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, Harvard and the Strategic Education Research Partnership Institute. Blake has worn many hats, including coach and mentor, to reach his goal of educating the whole child.
