Lauren Woo

Lauren Woo became an Education Pioneers Fellow to bridge the gap between her work as a classroom teacher and K-12 education policy reform efforts. Lauren recently earned her Ed.M. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education with a concentration in Educational Policy and Management. Prior to her graduate studies, Lauren was a Teach for America corps member in New York City where she taught elementary special education. Following her TFA commitment, she was a Learning Specialist at Achievement First East New York Charter School and an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College TeacherU. Since arriving at Harvard, Lauren has also consulted with educational non-profits in areas pertaining to human capital strengthening and resource development. Lauren earned her B.A. from Bates College and a M.A. in Teaching from Pace University.
