Allison Soler is a member of the Education Pioneers 2010 Greater Boston cohort. She spent her summer at Mass Insight Education and Research Institute. At Mass Insight, she analyzed and revised marketing collateral, including the website, to communicate a compelling and consistent message for the Mass Math + Science Initiative. She also researched corporate engagement strategies and made recommendations in the areas of executive leadership, staff engagement and corporate sponsorship. Allison is pursuing her MBA at Boston University with a concentration in public and nonprofit management. Before graduate school, Allison was the Oregon Director for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. She was responsible for leading staff, growing revenue and managing budgets for the organization throughout the state. She also directly developed Kaplan Medical and Nursing Business in Oregon, which experienced year-over-year growth of 74 percent.
