Kate Banting

Kate Banting joined Education Pioneers in Boston in the summer of 2009, where she spent her summer working at BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life), an afterschool and summer program for low-income urban youth. At BELL Kate helped create the business case around the sale and distribution of virtual training to other afterschool providers. Kate is currently attending the Harvard Business School where she is to complete her MBA program in 2010. Since the age of 11, Kate has been actively involved in CISV, an international non-profit that brings children together from around the world, and most recently serves as Toronto village director in 2007. Prior to business school, Kate was a strategy consultant for three years with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) after receiving her undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario.
