His projects included a diverse set of experiences including: building operational processes and supports within the BetterLesson organization in order to launch a successful pilot program for several charter school networks (Achievement First, Aspire, GreenDot, etc.), researching and reviewing educational technology business plans to determine which tools might provide the greatest support to the NSVF portfolio of schools/CMOs, and learning about potential educational implications of Web 2.0 and social networking business models with respect to how new organizations in the field might become sustainable. Before joining the joint MBA / MA Education program at Stanford, Jason worked as a Private Equity Associate for Flexpoint Ford Partners, LLC. In this role, he executed equity investments focused on the healthcare and financial services sectors. During this time, Jason also worked as a financial consultant to Noble Network of Charter Schools focusing on developing financial models for budgetary performance and expansion analysis.
