Vanessa Capone joined Education Pioneers in Boston for the summer of 2006. Vanessa worked with SchoolWorks, where she collaborated with management and subject matter experts to design and develop SchoolWorks's online training system, from CMS to content and media. In addition, Vanessa laid the foundation for integrating live and online training programs and creating online learning products for clients.

Vanessa began her career as a classroom teacher, where she initiated and developed multi-grade, project-based educational programs. Next, she created technology-enriched K-8 content and curriculum for corporate and government clients. Most recently, she has been designing content for and evaluating various local, state, and national initiatives, and volunteering with an equine-related nonprofit organization.
