Tim Heis joined Education Pioneers in Boston in the summer of 2005. Tim worked with Lighthouse Academies, where he developed the organization's national strategy for locating, selecting, and financing its school facilities as it grows from one school to nineteen over the next five years. He secured over $1.0 million in financing from new partnerships with three development agencies and was appointed as a Board Member of the Cleveland Lighthouse Community Charter School.

Tim began his career at Deloitte Consulting, as a business analyst in the Strategy & Operations practice. He helped public sector clients reduce costs, improve productivity, and develop strategies to meet the challenges posed by emerging technologies. Tim also founded Deloitte's relationship with Junior Achievement in the Dallas office and served as chairman for the Texas Business Analyst Committee.
