Jared Henderson joined Education Pioneers in Boston in the summer of 2005. Jared worked with the Community Partners Initiative in Lawrence, MA. During the summer, he developed a 3-year sales and marketing strategy, a detailed financial model and refined the organization's product development process.

Jared began his career with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the summer of 2001 as a Research Associate with the NASA Academy at Goddard Space Flight Center. He returned the following summer to serve as the Operations Manager of the NASA Academy. Following completion of his work with NASA, he accepted a management consultant position with the Dallas office of McKinsey and Company and later transitioned to the Washington D.C. office of McKinsey in order to pursue a role in the firm's Non-Profit Practice. While in Washington D.C. he had the opportunity to contribute to the development of a 5-year strategic plan for one of the nation's largest youth development non-profit organizations.
