EP in the San Francisco Bay Area

Education Pioneers is proud to host #EP2016 in the San Francisco Bay Area, where our non-profit was first founded in 2003. Our Founder and CEO, Scott Morgan, is a former schoolteacher and a Stanford Law School graduate who longed to combine his passion for education with his legal training. Serving as Aspire Public Schools’ first legal counsel, he witnessed the excellent results that Aspire’s diverse leadership team achieved for historically underserved students.

Scott’s vision crystalized: the education sector needed more exceptional talent, and exceptional talent needed a path into K-12 public education.

Education Pioneers now works to bring thousands of exceptional leaders into education to advance the critical work of more than 200 school districts, charter school groups, and other organizations nationwide that are dedicated to improving education for all students. Our Fellows solve problems from outside of the classroom so students and teachers succeed in the classroom.
