Education Pioneers Greater Boston partners with 27 area organizations, including the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Public Schools, Jobs for the Future, Teach For America, Citizen Schools, the Achievement Network, Roxbury Preparatory Charter School, and NewSchools Venture Fund. We supply Partners with great people for critical projects and full-time employment. Last summer, Greater Boston
partner organizations utilized Education Pioneers Fellows to create management and accountability tools, analyze positioning for Race to the Top funds, and evaluate internal data to develop recommendations for student achievement goals.
Skilled Professionals Recruited to Work in Education in Greater Boston
We recruit some of the brightest and most talented graduate school students from Harvard, Stanford, Brown, BU, and many others for our selective Fellowship Program. Fellows train to become leaders in education in Greater Boston by completing high-impact projects for education organizations, exploring key leverage areas in education reform, and collaborating with local experts and peers.
Our Alumni Become Leaders in Education in Greater Boston
In Greater Boston, more than 70% of Education Pioneers Alumni are filling critical leadership roles for education organizations. For example, Courtney Schroeder, a Stanford MBA and 2006 Education Pioneers Fellow, could have followed a career path in the private sector, but is now Director of Regional Expansion at BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) in Boston where she is nationally scaling one of the nation’s most successful out-of-school-time programs.
