About Pivot Learning Partners

Pivot Learning Partners partners with school districts to develop leaders and redesign district systems to build the education organizations of the future. Using our research-based theory of action, we bring expertise and experience to support school districts in analyzing, designing and implementing customized solutions that employ both best and next practices to improve teaching and learning for all.

Mission

Pivot Learning Partners is a non-profit organization whose mission is to revitalize public education by developing the leaders and building the education organizations of the future. We envision a future in which race, class, language, gender and culture are no longer good predictors of educational outcomes for students.

Impact

Pivot Learning Partners general programs uses data (mainly API) from our partner districts to evaluate the work of our coaches in the field. Since, the District Redesign Workshop is just now developing and implementing our first projects, we are also just now discussing the evaluation process for our redesign projects. Likely, in the future, we will design an evaluation process aligned to the type of systemic work we implement, involving both quantitative and qualitative metrics.
